CNC Solutions is a CNC machine shop that specializes in subcontracting manufacturing for CNC Machining centres and turning centres. 
They are proud to be the only CNC turning centre in Greece certified by Haas.
They serve various industrial sectors, such as defence, high tech, production lines, and medical equipment.

In the MCCi experiment, CNC Solutions aims to address one of the most frequent problems in the daily business of CNC machining: chatter.

• Chatter is a vibration phenomenon between the workpiece and the cutting tool that can cause defects, tool breakage and production delays. 
• Dealing with this inconvenience often involves material replacement or restarting the entire procedure.
• To prevent this, a sensor mounted on the machine will measure the vibration data and feed it to an AI-empowered system, beside other data coming from their digitalised manufacturing line.
• The AI system will detect the onset of chatter and alert the operator to stop the machine or change the tool before it breaks while still ensuring human oversight.

The company also plans to transfer this technology to other machines in their production line, as well as reflecting the gained knowledge in the training programs of the manufacturing courses they offer.
